Our September meeting will be held on Thursday, September 20th at 7:00 PM at Magic's Pizza in Selah. 

Our speaker will be Aaron Garcia, Hunter Education and Volunteer Coordinator Region 3 with the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.  Aaron started working for the WDFW January 2015.  Aaron was born in Ketchikan Alaska, and grew up in Sitka Alaska hunting and fishing from an early age.  He lives in Ellensburg with his wife Jennifer and son Mitchell.   Aaron works to find meaningful projects for volunteers, and provide opportunities for the public to contribute to the conservation of our natural resources. He will be speaking about the National Hunting and Fishing Day event scheduled for Saturday, September 22nd at Sun Valley Shooting Park in Moxee. He will also address any questions you may have about hunting.

Pat Hesselgesser, Member of the Advocacy Committee of the Washington Council of Trout Unlimited, will speak about the committee's activities.

Finally, Stefan Woodruff with Ellensburg Anglers will speak abut their upcoming Yakima River clean up to be held on Saturday, September 29 which will benefit our club.
