Saturday, September 25th is Public Lands Day and we have been invited to participate in a Yakima River Clean Up sponsored by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).

Along with picking up after the 1000s of visitors, we are planning on removing rocks and sticks in preparation for a new picnic area at Big Pines as well as invasive plant removal in the campgrounds.

If you can make it, meet at Big Pines Campground in the Yakima River Canyon at 9:00 AM on Saturday, September 25th.

Remember to bring a mask and practice social distancing.
